Skåbu Mountain Hotel is a small, homely family-run hotel centrally located in the center of the idyllic small mountain village, Skåbu, in Gudbrandsdalen.
In 2008, the family fell in love with this small beautiful village which lies 860 m.a.s.l. and is Northern Europe's highest mountain village. We do not know whether it was the magnificent majestic mountains that surround the village, the bustling bird and animal life or the hospitable and inclusive village that took us the most, but it is certainly a good place to live. In fact, it is so good to live here that 10 years later we are three generations from Bærum, Oslo who have settled here in Skåbu. The family is running Lykkja Mountain Farm and Skåbu Mountain Hotel which opened fully in the summer of 2018.
A warm welcome to Skåbu and Skåbu Mountain Hotel!
